Welcome to Nor Cal Elite Basketball

Nor Cal Elite is one of the nation's top NCAA Showcase basketball clubs.  Over the last 10 years we have had over 50 players sign full scholarships with leading division I and II colleges and the NAIA, such as University of Tennessee, University of Oregon, Kansas St., Baylor University, Arizona St., San Diego State, William Jessup University, and many more. Our players are among the best in the nation. We seek out the area's most talented, driven student-athletes and implement a training regimen created to give them the advanced skills necessary to become consistent student-athletes at the next level. Our goal is to foster an environment where athletes who wish to take their game to another level, have not only the opportunity to do so,  but also have the people in place who can help them reach their individual goals.

We have four travel teams: Nor Cal Elite Black, Blue, White and Silver, which attend competitive NCAA showcase tournaments in the US. The games are attended by over 350 of the nation's top college coaches.

Nor Cal Elite is registered as a 501(3)C Non-Profit organization and is also registered with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). NCE is based in the greater Sacramento area.  Damond Edwards is the Director of Nor Cal Elite.

A Class Act

Shelbi Meyer is the epitome of the old adage, "hard work pays off".  The Senior post player from Whitney High School has willed herself into a force on and off the court.  She has consistently averaged  a double-double for the last two seasons, as well as maintain a 3.8 gpa.  Shelbi is a born leader on the court and the life of the party in the locker room.  Next year, she will take her leadership qualities and open hearted personality to Sonoma State on a basketball scholarship, where she will study sports medicine.  Read More

A+ is for Aliyah

Some players take time more time to develop than others.  Often the process of "turning the light on", can be tedious and overwhelming.  But no matter how difficult the road may be, some people possess the ability to handle the task.  River City's Aliyah Brantley has paid her dues, done her homework and now the "light" is on-shining brighter than ever.  Next season she will attend Menlo College on a scholarship and continue the process of becoming a great player.  More learning, more studying and  more adjustments. But no worries, the 4.0 student is used to putting in the time that few others are willing to give.

Still Ballin'!!!!

Dedicated to NCE alumni that are still "putting in work" on the hoop court.

After three years with Nor Cal Elite, Fantasia Hilliard decided to keep her talents right here at home and played at Sac St.  During her three years, she is destroying the all time assist record and has brought her winning attitude to the Hornets program.  Speed and quickness are her main tools, but ball IQ, amazing defense, a killer crossover and precision passing has helped her become the Big Sky Freshman of the Year and gain a spot amongst the nation's DI assist leaders.
